About Tanuki Club
since 1993

We love and enjoy the world with tanukis!

Objectives: To contribute to the enhancement of research on the tanuki and to improve the relationship between tanukis and humans via the network among people who are interested in the tanuki, by creating a database that promotes and stimulates the mutual exchange of knowledge and information on the tanuki and related issues.

Here the people looking at feces

We get together once a year, visiting Japanese countryside, traditional cities like Kyoto, zoos, and so on. Also, we talk about nature and wildlife seriously, but with fun.

In Kyoto zoo facility, we studied and laughed a lot.

The silly person with lion mask (real one) is Midori Saeki, the cheif of Tanuki Club, with the youngest participant and the overseer who did not oversee us that day.
